After what some may consider careers in consulting and logistics, we quit our jobs, sold our stuff and left Germany to be full-time travelers and development volunteers. This blog is about our travels, our work as volunteers and our alternative life strategies - always looking to make an impact and to find the meaning in what we do or put some into it if we can't find any. -

Video: Kayaking around Caye Caulker – with a meaning! // Sinnvolles Paddeln in Caye Caulker
We took Frank and Jörg over to Caye Caulker for a day on the Caye shortly after they got here. There’s a gazillion providers who offer kayak trips on the cayes in Belize. But through Norbert’s Globotreks.com blog post “Kayaking with Purpose” I had learned about a very special trip: For a donation, you can go kayaking with the kids from Ocean Academy – the only High School on Caye Caulker. Their guides are kids who grew up in the waters around Caye Caulker. And you support a good cause. Perfect Win-Win.
Check out the video to see what it’s like!
